Quarterly Blood Drive
This ministry enables each parish participant the ability to significantly affect three or more lives within our North Texas Communities. Blood Drive hours will be 8 am to 3 pm. The Knights of Columbus Council 8493 will be hosting a breakfast in support of the blood drive. All donor meals are complimentary. Each donation can save as many as 3 lives so please be participate.
Christian Community Action (CCA)
About
CCA is a faith-based non-profit organization that has been working throughout Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Wise counties for more than 40 years; They have been helping the disadvantaged for over 36 years here at Holy Cross.
Through careful case management, CCA aims to help families in need achieve self-sufficiency by offering a “hand up” instead of a hand-out.
Back to School Clothing and Christmas Giving Tree
At the beginning of each school year and again at Christmas time, tags are placed on our “Giving Tree” requesting donations. Donated items and cash gifts are welcome.
These programs give our parishioners a great way to reach out to others!
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry helps many families throughout the year and is always in need of volunteers. Contact Carolyn at [email protected] to volunteer.
A brand new Food Pantry opened in October 2019 with the completion of construction.
The Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month from 1pm-3pm.
Donations can be placed in the two large baskets at the church’s entrance. Thank you for your support.
Items regularly needed are:
Chicken noodle Soup
Corn Muffin Mix
Dry Pinto Beans (1lb bag)
Rice (1 Lb bag)
Spaghetti Sauce
Spaghetti
Tuna
Homebound and the Nursing Home Ministries
Homebound and the Nursing Home Ministries is intended to encourage, comfort, and share the love of God with the elderly and those that are confined to their homes or are confined to a nursing home.
The Word and the Holy Eucharist are brought weekly to those who cannot come to His house.
Prayer Tree
The Prayer Tree is a new ministry that gives us an opportunity to pray daily in our own way for the intentions of others. It can be prayers of thanksgiving, requesting prayers for health, prayer requests for family concerns or any needs we may have.

Quilting Ministry
Quilting Ministry makes and gives handmade quilts to parishioners undergoing sickness or experiencing a difficult time.
We meet on the second Monday of every month from 1 PM – 5 PM.
Respect Life
The Respect Life Ministry provides information on respecting life through prayer and worship, education, healing after abortion, the Gabriel Project and Youth for Life.
