"As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.” 1 Cor 12.
This verse captures our parish. Each family is a vital part to our success.
On behalf of the GIFT Comittee, I want to thank all those who have made a financial commitment to the future of Holy Cross by donating or pledging $2,939,126!
You can see our construction progress on our vestibule and bell tower, which emphasizes our commitment to expand. We can fail when over 50% of our "body's" parts are not fully engaged.
We need everyone’s love, prayers, support and financial commitment to continue moving forward. It is up to all of us, especially those who have not pledged, to raise the remaining construction costs of our expansion of over $6,100,000!
Pledges can be made online at www.holycrosscc.org/GIFT or you can follow the links above GIFT Campaign. Donations can also be made to the GIFT Campaign using the envelops in the pews, which can be placed in the collection basket.

Q&A
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, as we begin to prayerfully consider participating in the capital campaign to benefit the building fund, a few questions have been asked by several parishioners. Why do we need a capital campaign? How does a capital campaign work in conjunction with the weekly offering? How long is our campaign? A capital campaign is needed when the weekly offerings are not sufficient to cover the cost of improvements needed for the church to benefit the parish community. It is a good time to examine your overall giving level to ensure you are fully supporting the parish with your weekly offering through tithing which is 10% of your income. Capital campaign pledges are in addition to what is given weekly. In our diocese, it is customary to ask parishioners to give the same amount to the capital campaign each week that they give in the weekly offering and to contribute this incremental amount for 3 to 5 years. Our campaign is 3 years for phase 1 of our building project.
